How we collect it
Usually directly from you — in person, by phone, or through our website forms and online booking. With your consent, we may also collect information from other healthcare providers, specialists, hospitals, pathology and imaging services involved in your care.

- Providing and managing your healthcare and follow-up
- Communicating with you about appointments, results and recalls
- Billing and claiming through Medicare and health funds
- Quality improvement, accreditation and practice management
- Meeting our legal and regulatory obligations
Disclosure
We only share your information where necessary for your care or where required by law — for example, with treating specialists, hospitals, pathology and imaging providers, or as part of the My Health Record system where applicable. We do not sell your information, and we do not disclose it overseas without your consent.
Keeping your information secure
Your records are stored in secure electronic systems with access limited to authorised staff bound by confidentiality obligations. Paper records, where held, are stored securely.
Accessing and correcting your information
You have the right to request access to your health information and to ask us to correct anything that is inaccurate or out of date. Contact us to make a request; some requests may attract a reasonable administrative fee.
